What an honor to have met you! You are a gifted scholar and historian, and a fun teacher! Thank you for so beautifully explaining Biblical theology, and answering fundamental questions that I’ve had since I was a child in Sunday school. I am truly energized! Paul and I got guide books before we came over here that have a good amount of the historical information you described. So now I can use my book as reference for all the dates, periods of history, kings, etc. that you were teaching us about. And I can also go back to my Pastors and discuss all this with them.
We were discussing The Holy Grail and related subjects over dinner with David and his wife too. The whole thing is fascinating. The history of Mohammed was great as well! You make things very clear and fun. Thank You! I love hearing about all of it!
The Western Wall was very special for me. Touching it, and experiencing all the women weeping and praying was very deep. I backed away from the Wall too, I did not turn my back on it.I hope to further study with you when I return to Israel, which I fully intend to do. My wish is that this is the first of many trips.
I am a slow student and it’s challenging to connect certain dots until I write things down, and read them over and over again. But history and theology are subjects I always wanted to study. But music took over and became my job, and there are only so many hours in a day. Finally, thank you for explaining the sacrifice of Jesus, and showing us the painting of His blood dripping on the skull of Adam. The first man and the second man……. YES!!!!I’ll gladly recommend you to anyone who wants a real guide!God Bless You, my friend, and thank you again for taking care of us.

Sincerely,

Catherine Russell

My daughter and I spent a week in Jerusalem, and Evia Ronen was our private guide.
He was a delightfully fun guide and covered a lot of ground in a short time.

I was very impressed with his knowledge of the history of Israel and the Bible.
I am a Christian, and he gave very insightful tours with loads of information on
the significance of the sights we were seeing. We toured the northern part of
Israel, Jerusalem and the Dead Sea/ Masada area on three separate days.

I highly recommend you spend the extra money and hire a private guide.
He tailored his tours to what we were interested in seeing, so we didn’t waste any time.

Evia Ronen is a top notch guide and you won’t be disappointed. I am already looking
forward to going back to Israel.

Anna Mell, Maryland, USA

Our family of four couldn’t have asked for a better guide to the Old City in Jerusalem than Evia.
The depth and breadth of his knowledge is extraordinary. Evia began with a historical overview that
was lively and engaging and prepared us thoroughly for our adventure through time. He outlined the
character of the city in biblical antiquity, its fate in the Roman and Byzantine period, its conquest by
Christians crusaders and Muslim armies, and its more recent history under the Ottomans,
the British and finally modern Israel.
Then, as we moved through the four quarters of the city, Evia began to weave the story (or stories!) of
religion into the historical framework he had provided at the outset.  And in this way the stones beneath
and around us came to life.

The world-changing events and the larger-than-life personalities that have
contributed to Jerusalem’s reputation as the navel of the universe were vividly and imaginatively described.

It would be a mistake to conclude from this description that Evia was merely a “walking book.” Nothing could
be further from the truth! He structured our experience of the old city with creativity and imagination, stringing
together a route that took us between old and new, ancient and modern, and leading us through alley ways and
markets where everyone seemed to know and welcome him, adding immeasurably to our feeling of comfort and
excitement.  Evia was responsive to our requests and questions and proved to be an interesting conversation partner,
willing to discuss life in Israel today in all of its complications.  We wouldn’t hesitate to call on Evia’s services again!!

It was a pleasure to meet you Evia and we wish you all the best,

Chris

EVIATAR I WISH AND MY FAMILY

Eviatar I wish and my family and my guests to thank you from the bottom of my heart for a wonderful and important day for
us – our Bar Mitzvah has become an extraordinary experience and a very wonderful day for you.
The only way I think to thank you is to publicize you as much as I can. (In my place of work you already appear on the site)
In any case I write this letter so that you can publish it on your site.I met Eviatar through the rhythm site when I was

looking for drummers to the wall for my son’s Bar Mitzvah ceremony. Already on the phone call I had the impression
that the person I was talking to was something special.

Her father helped me organize the bar mitzvah. My request was that I would not take care of anything, that the
package would include everything from end to end-that I would enjoy one of the guests and not be involved in
arrangements and twins.

One phone packed me a beautiful program interesting and amazingly presented. All my guests were enthusiastic.
The organization was outstanding all at a time and place with his team. His news about Jerusalem and other subjects
at a high level and fun to hear. The team of musicians was exhilarating and we were all swept up in an amazing
procession to the Western Wall plaza (foreign people who did not belong to my guest photographed us from the side).

The wonderful photographs we have left as a souvenir and video show a smile and a strong desire to return to visit
other places in Jerusalem, which we taste in a nutshell.

On a personal level, Eviatar is an unusual person who is pleasant and very considerate. He combined several surprises
in the trip and we all had a taste of more (a private trip to Jerusalem was arranged with him).

With great joy and success – thank you very much The Kapra family

Evyatar (Evya) Ronen is definitely the best tour guide we’ve ever come across (both in Israel and abroad).
He’s an excellent guide – full of knowledge and humor, which gives you the most  knowledge-providing and
entertaining tour experience.

We were on his fascinating Jerusalem old city tour, but apparently he guides
tour all over the city
